In April & May, we will be learning new things and practicing things we have learned this year in the Computer Lab.
First Grade students will be practicing their research skills with their "My State Report" project. They will be using the 50states.com website to locate facts about their chosen state. Then they will use Microsoft Word to type their report. We will print these reports and share them in class. Look for some to be displayed in the hall outside of the computer lab later this month.
Second Grade students will also be working on research and reporting skills. They will be choosing an animal to research at Enchanted Learning.com and then will use Microsoft Word to type their reports which will be printed and shared with the class.
Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade classes will be learning about and using Microsoft PowerPoint to create slideshow presentations.
All grades will be using their technology skills to create something special for their Moms in May! Look for some of the outstanding projects to be displayed in the hallway outside the lab!
